Wenona Kimbro is a
local writer of fiction and poetry. At present, most of her free
time is spent editing the final draft of We Hover Like Bees, a
novel for young adults. The one activity that consistently tears her
away from this project is her job at a group home for developmentally
disabled adults, which never fails to provide rich examples of human
nature and practical creativity. She occasionally updates her
profile page at www.myspace.com/lovelyurchin,
generally at times when she ought to be writing or sleeping. Her
other favorite ways of frittering away time are Bhangra dancing,
cooking Mediterranean food, and learning new ways to say naughty
things in Italian.
